Priyanka Chopra to dub for animated film

Even as Yash Raj Films’ Roadside Romeo for which Kareena Kapoor has done the voice-dub releases on October 24, Priyanka Chopra has been approached to dub for the animated flick Ali Baba and 41 Thieves.

Priyanka will dub for the character of Marjinha in the movie directed by Soumitra Ranade. Incidentally, the character was portrayed by Zeenat Aman in an Indo-Russian co-production. Priyanka also stepped into Zeenat Aman’s shoes in the remake of Don (1977).

The lead male voice dub has already been completed by John Abraham. Other voice dubs have been done by Ashutosh Rana for the part of the villainous Abu Hassan, Raza Murad for a dwarf, Saurabh Shukhla for the 41st thief and Atul Kulkarni for a chatty camel.

The animated movie will be released next year.

Priyanka performs with SOB

Bollywood is now all set to say hello to an underground club called `SoB`, (Son of a bitch) in Goldie Behl`s highly-anticipated Drona. The song Oopcha, which features Priyanka Chopra, has the controversially-named club bringing up the back.

For starters, SoB are a troupe from New Jersey and are known to perform at all the celebrity do in New Jersey. News has it that Goldie Behl was so tad impressed with these guys that he actually brought them from New Jersey to Mumbai!

Speaking about his choice of the boys, Goldie said, `When I saw these boys perform at a high-profile club in New Jersey, I was completely blown away. These guys were really good. From there on, we initiated to get these guys down to Mumbai and start rehearsals for the song and it hardly took them two days of practice to get into the groove of the music and perform to their best, take after take`.

But there was something exceptional done by the boys that touched Goldie the most.

`What was really special was that after we finished shooting, they actually performed the entire song for all of us, at one go as a thanks giving gesture`, reveals the director.

Priyanka Chopra falls off bike

Actress Priyanka Chopra is sporting quite a few bruises after she and Shahid Kapur fell off a bike while shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj's film Kaminay.

The accident took place in Pune while a scene that required Priyanka to ride a bike with Shahid on the back seat was being shot. The two were riding the bike on a slope that was slightly muddy when the two-wheeler skidded and the two fell off. And to make matter worse, the bike fell on top of them.

"By god's grace, I am fine and so is Shahid, except for a few cuts and bruises. I think the only thing that is seriously damaged is my ego, otherwise I am alive and kicking," Priyanka was quoted as saying in a press statement.
